I chose these book titles for Contemporary realistic fiction because I read these books while in late elementary to middle school and they had a great impact on viewing things/ the world differently which helped me while growing up. My thoughts about Contemporary realistic fiction is that the books have characters with reliable situations that can happen in real life but have not happened in real life but some people can't relate to some things that the characters face in the books.

Favorite Picture Book

 Greetings readers, My favorite picture book as a child was "The Cat In The Hat" by Dr. Seuss. I think it was my favorite because I fell in love with the storyline, I remember watching the movie, and my 2nd-grade language arts teacher reading it to the class. However, this is one of my favorites to this point because of the illustrations of the book and the lessons a child could learn.
