Historical fiction

Image
 1. "Gittel's Journey" by Leslea Newman  2. "Just A Girl" by Lia Levi  3. "Finding Langston" by Lesa Cline-Ransome I chose these book titles for Historical fiction because I read these books while in middle school and in high school they had a great impact on viewing things/ the world differently that took place in the past. My thoughts about Historical fiction are that books often contain actual historical persons.

Contemporary realistic fiction books

Image
 1. Because of Winn-Dixie by Kate DiCamillo  2. Wonder by R.J Palacio  3. The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night  I chose these book titles for Contemporary realistic fiction because I read these books while in late elementary to middle school and they had a great impact on viewing things/ the world differently which helped me while growing up. My thoughts about Contemporary realistic fiction is that the books have characters with reliable situations that can happen in real life but have not happened in real life but some people can't relate to some things that the characters face in the books.

Fantasy & Sci Fiction Books

 1. Dune by Frank Herbert 2. Harry Potter by J.K Rowling 3. The Witcher by Andrzej Sapkowski  I chose these fantasy and sci-fiction title books because these are some well-known books I know about and have read so far. However, my thoughts about fantasy and sci-fiction title books are they are interesting to read and easy to create your own stories on fantasy and sci-fiction.

Book Club

My book club group is currently reading "Because of Winn-Dixie" by Kate Dicamillo!

Poetry books

1.Llama Llama Red Pajama   2. Fox with Socks  3. Feel the Beat  I chose these poetry titles because these were poetry books I remember reading as a young elementary student. However, my thoughts about poetry are it can be beneficial for students who are learning rhythms and to improve in understanding of what poetry is and how to write it.
